A brief description of 2 Wheel Tune
We offer mobile bicycle
repair, tune ups, restoration, custom builds from the frame up,
and custom wheel building from your hubs and rims. We have
well over two decades working on bikes, from classic Campagnolo Nuovo Record
Italian, English and American lugged steel road bikes to dual suspension aluminum or carbon wonderbikes.
2 Wheel Tune is in Los Angeles, and our mobile service ranges from the San Fernando Valley to the South Bay, and from downtown to Pacific Palisades and Malibu.
Our services range from the most basic: repairing flat tires and simple tune ups on children's and single speed adult bicycles such as cruisers, to the most complex, such as the custom building of your dream road bike, or the assembly of your dream long distance touring bicycle. We've commuted by bike; we've toured thousands of miles; we ride both off road and on, on mountain bikes and road bikes, and we love it all!
We know a lot about vintage bicycles, and can help you keep your classic in fine riding condition, and sometimes
have rare and vintage parts in stock to keep your older bike ridable.
We can also find older parts at your request to keep your classic bicycle on the road.
A basic tune up on a multi speed bike is $70 ($55 on single speeds) which includes full adjustment of brakes, drivetrain and wheel truing as well as cleaning. This fee does not include new cables, chains, or other parts that may be necessary or desirable.
(Please note that tuneups and service on extra dirty bikes involves a cleaning surcharge.)
